Who I Work With
Critical Incidents are events involving the loss of health or life which significantly affect well-being or ability to work.
For over twenty years, I have served workers in a wide range of incidents, including murder, armed felony, sudden death, suicide, medical fatality, terrorism, industrial accidents, natural disasters and psychiatric emergencies. I usually provide services within 72 hours after the incident occurs.
I continually learn about the nature of trauma and its effects. My Critical Incident practice has been instrumental to my understanding, and ability to help people during a single intervention.
I have directly served many organizations coping with recent tragic and traumatic loss. My onsite approach has helped people and managers develop positive short and long-term outcomes that value everyone at work. I offer consultation to create critical incident response programs that actively address effects on workers’ mental health.
